Shelly-Ann Walker

Shelly-Ann Walker was appointed Executive, Data Protection, with responsibility as the Data Protection Officer for all companies in the JN Group in February 2023, reporting to CEO, Hon. Earl Jarrett.

Ms Walker joined the former Jamaica National Building Society as Compliance Manager in 2005 and was promoted to Senior Manager, Compliance and Risk at JN General Insurance Company in 2014, where she also held the role of Corporate Secretary. Prior to joining the JN Group, Shelly-Ann worked with the Financial Services Commission, one of Jamaica’s financial services regulators.

A certified Anti-Money Laundering specialist, Ms Walker is also a Certified Information Privacy Manager. She holds a Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of London, Legal Education certificate from the Norman Manley Law School, an MBA from the Manchester Business School and a BSc in Management and Accounting from The University of the West Indies. She is a Holy Childhood High School alumna.
