    JN Group

The Jamaica National Group has always handled personal information confidentially and securely.  In keeping with the requirements of the General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”), which became effective on May 25, 2018, we have renewed our commitment to protecting the personal information of our members, customers and employees.

In May 2018,  data protection webpages were created for the JN Bank, JN Money Services and JN Group websites.  These data protection webpages include our Privacy Notice, Frequently Asked Questions and other general information.

What is a Data Protection Officer?

The JN Group Data Protection Officer (DPO) is responsible for informing and advising the organisation on data protection obligations, providing advice regarding Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs) and resulting adjustments, monitoring internal compliance, and acting as an escalation point for data subjects and the contact point for the supervisory authority.

The Jamaica National Group has appointed a DPO for the Group, Anthony Robinson, who is based in Jamaica.  A DPO will also be appointed in the UK, specifically responsible for our companies that operate in the UK, including the JN Bank UK Representative Office and JN Money Services UK Ltd.
