JN Preferred Lender Programme Awards Benefits

2 min read

The Jamaica National Group established the JN Preferred Lender programme in 2009, designed for local housing developers to maintain an improved relationship with the then Jamaica National Building Society (JNBS).

And, since the emergence of JN Bank, in February of 2017, the commercial bank, has been assisting local developers to market their housing projects to its members and customers, and as such, there is access for developers. Customers also benefit from home financing in a development partner project.

The Preferred Lender Developer Programme provides each developer with the benefit of JN brand association; a one stop shop concept is associated with the project, personalized mortgage service given to purchasers, and access to the JN Bank network locally and internationally.

The customer is also entitled to access National Housing Trust (NHT) benefits, through Joint Finance Mortgage Programme and benefits, in respect of reduced attorney and processing fees.

At no cost to the developer, JN Bank provides branding, marketing and promotional activities, customer service, training and development in the mortgage process and more. JN Bank also provides efficient services, and seamless transactions to the developer and its customers.

The housing developments are also featured in JN Bank’s bi-weekly e-newsletter, which reaches a customer base of more than 99,000 JN clients, locally and in the Diaspora.  Projects are also introduced at our larger branches, in-branch promotions; and JN Bank provides branding at open houses and other real estate events.

JN Bank, in turn, offers opportunities for developers to participate in local and overseas events, to access its extensive “member base.” And, its overseas Representative offices are located in the United Kingdom, United States of America (USA), Canada and The Cayman Islands.

Client relationship officers are also strategically located across Jamaica, in our four regional mortgage centres, to assist with purchases and pre-approvals.

To be a participant in the JN Preferred Lender Programme, developers must be registered; granted the requisite approvals and ensure that the project is well financed.

You may also contact our JN Representative Office at telephone number: 0207-708-2442, or our Toll Free Number: 0800-328-0387; or, email us at ukrepoffice@janouk.com to discuss how through the JN Be Wise Savings Plans and JN mortgage we can assist you with your homeownership in Jamaica.
