JN Upgrades Cadet Resource Centre, Basic School, for Labour Day
The Jamaica Combined Cadet Force had its resource centre significantly transformed on Labour Day, May 23, by dedicated employees of The Jamaica National Group. Organised by the JN Foundation, the 35-member volunteer corps spent the day painting and carrying out infrastructural work to improve both the aesthetic appeal and functionality of the space. The Jamaica National Group also donated furniture and equipment valued at $2.5 million. The furniture is expected to enhance the operations of the Cadet Force and ensure that the cadets are housed in a comfortable and efficient environment for training and development.
Meanwhile, Laura’s Basic School in Duhaney Park, St Andrew received a brand-new kitchen courtesy of a volunteer team from JN Fund Managers, who renovated a 20-foot container into a kitchen for students attending the school.
