Paulette Simpson was appointed Deputy Chief Executive Officer – Corporate Affairs of JN Bank UK in September 2020, with responsibility for Corporate Affairs and Market Strategy. She will continue in her role as Executive, Corporate Affairs and Public Policy, for The Jamaica National Group in the UK. There is an obvious synergy between the two roles which will help bring a coordinated focus to the Group’s mission in the UK.

    She has been part of the JN family since 2002 and has held several other positions within the JN Group, including:  Executive, Corporate Affairs and Public Policy, Chief Representative Officer, UK Representative Office, Jamaica National Building Society and General Manager, JN Overseas (UK) Limited, now renamed JN Money Services (UK) Limited.

    Paulette also provides strategic management support for The Voice, which has been Britain’s leading Black newspaper for the last 38 years, seeking to reposition the newspaper to achieve greater efficiencies and deeper community engagement.

    She has been active in the Windrush Campaigns in the UK for the past few years and is Deputy Chair of the Windrush Advisory Panel and the Windrush Commemoration Committee. Paulette continues to be very active in the community and assists various charities across the UK with their work to improve the lives of Jamaicans in the UK and Jamaica. She was recognised as one of Britain’s most influential people of African and African-Caribbean heritage in the annual UK Powerlist published by Powerful Media in 2018 and 2019.

    She is a Director, JN Money Services (UK) Ltd, GV Media, publishers of The Voice newspaper and a Member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing.
