    Understanding COVID-19

The coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic has affected almost every country in the world, including Jamaica, where the government has implemented healthcare, security and fiscal measures to fight the spread of this contagious disease.

How is The JN Group Responding to COVID-19?

As COVID-19 affects countries around the world, our primary focus, at The Jamaica National Group, is centred on the health, safety and welfare of our employees, members, customers and related stakeholders.

The JN Group’s Emergency Management Team (EMT) has been closely monitoring the situation and has implemented various measures to minimise the risks to Group employees and our operations.

The health, safety and well-being of our JN Family remain our top priority. The JN Group is committed to meeting its duty of care to take measures to ensure the health and safety of our employees, members and customers.

How the JN Group is Supporting You During this Period

The Jamaica National Group has thrown a “lifeline” to its members and customers, considering the anticipated financial impact of the COVID-19 crisis on the Jamaican economy.

[accordion_father][accordion_son title=”Click to read more” clr=”#16519b”]As a group of companies, which is built on ‘providing value,’ to our members and by extension, the communities in which we operate, JN believes that it is important to devise strategies to assist our members and clients who may experience economic hardships as a result of the pandemic.

In anticipation of the needs that will emerge from the possible negative economic effects of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, The Jamaica National Group has structured several measures to support its members and customers.

These measures span various financial and non-financial entities, including JN Bank, JN Small Business Loans Limited and the Jamaica Automobile Association.[/accordion_son][/accordion_father]
